WHAT’S IN A FACE? “It’s all in the eyes”, the artist explains, “Once you capture the subject’s gaze, you capture their spirit, their essence.”

Although known more for his distinctive land and seascapes, Senske’s mastery of the human form and incredible ability to render flesh tones by hand with photoreal results has led to collectors digging through family photos to commission their own.

The JFK painting was inspired by Hugh Sidey’s iconic photo taken aboard the presidential yacht, “Honeyfitz”, on August 25, 1963. It is available in a beautiful canvas print. Click on the image to order.
